  • Oversaw program growth from 13 to 190 singers comprising five competing choirs and two extracurricular ensembles

  • Earned exclusively Sweepstakes Trophy awards at UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest for all choirs

  • Won “Outstanding Choir” at every contest entered, including the Space City Music Festival, Alamo Music Festival, Red River Sing-Off, and Festival Disney

  • Conducted the Lovejoy Varsity Women’s Choir at the Texas Music Educators’ Association Convention (2013)

  • Placed students in the Texas All-State Choirs and the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest, including many first chair singers and Outstanding Medalists

  • Received the “Young Director of the Year” Award from the Texas Choral Directors’ Association (2012)

  • Conducted and musically directed annual all-school musical, receiving awards from Cappies and the Schmidt & Jones Awards including “Best Musical”

  • Organized tours and conducted performances in top-tier venues including St. John’s the Divine in New York City, Old North Church in Boston, St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice, and St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome

  • Qualified for and arranged special performance opportunities and professional choir concerts, including performances with Orpheus Chamber Singers, San Marco Coro in Vicenza, Italy, and the 531st Air Force Band, and appearances on Good Morning Texas.
